I plan to include on this page more info concerning scheduling of classes as well upcoming performances once the group gets itself established. If you are a visitor to this page, I started this class through Opus 111 music studio to provide an opportunity for jazz students of all ages to explore this music in a structured environment without the constraints of any school schedules.

The improv class is designed to give students a basic knowledge of the art of improvisation that includes instruction in jazz music theory and terminology. The combo class is designed to utilize these lessons in a '40s and '50s era jazz combo with emphasis on individual music creation.
